The American Association for Critical Illness Insurance advocates for the importance of understanding the health risks and financial consequences associated with cancer and critical illnesses such as heart attack and stroke. We strive to provide meaningful and valuable information for consumers and to support insurance professionals who market critical illness insurance options. We welcome feedback and input. The Association currently does not receive any financial support from insurance companies. Neither do we have membership (or associated membership fees). Jesse Slome founded the organization and runs two other organizations which have enabled the undertaking of this effort. The two organizations are the American Association for Long-Term Care Insurance and the American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance.
